Establishment Purpose and Mission
To align with Taipei Medical University's strategic development goals and to advance the field of organ transplantation medicine and specialized research, the TMU Research Center for Organ Transplantation (TMU-RCOT) was established. The center aims to integrate clinical medical personnel and research resources related to organ transplantation, thereby enhancing the capacity for clinical services and research development.

The mission of TMU-RCOT is to support the university's development policies by consolidating clinical expertise and research resources in organ transplantation. This integration seeks to elevate the quality and capacity of clinical services and research, foster distinctive medical practices, and improve overall healthcare quality.

- Integrate Medical Professionals Across TMU's Three Affiliated Hospitals
Unify organ transplantation specialists from Taipei Medical University Hospital, Wan Fang Hospital, and Shuang Ho Hospital to establish a patient-centered clinical service model. - Standardize Organ Donation Processes and Promote Awareness
Consolidate clinical procedures for organ procurement, donation, and patient care across the three hospitals. Collaborate with university resources to advocate for organ donation, fostering TMU's unique approach to organ donation and humanistic care, thereby fulfilling the university's social responsibility in this domain. - Cultivate Specialized Research Talent in Organ Transplantation
Leverage the university's foundational and clinical resources to train professionals in organ transplantation research.
