The TMU Research Center for Organ Transplantation (TMU-RCOT) unites professionals from Taipei Medical University's affiliated hospitals to collaboratively advance organ transplantation services, uphold social medical responsibility, and enhance healthcare quality.
Taipei Medical University's affiliated healthcare system boasts a comprehensive organ transplantation team, comprising nine kidney transplant specialists, three deceased donor liver transplant specialists, one living donor liver transplant specialist, three heart transplant specialists, one lung transplant specialist, and multidisciplinary teams dedicated to treating various organ failures. Additionally, five dedicated organ procurement coordinators are actively involved in end-of-life care, identifying potential organ donors, and promoting organ donation and transplantation efforts. This collaborative approach aims to establish a patient-centered clinical service model.
