Run for Life, Walk for Wishes — The 2025 “Chasing Wishes to Fulfillment” World Hospice and Palliative Care Day Run Kicks Off with Passion!

To celebrate World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, the Taiwan Organ Donation and Transplantation Registry and Patient Autonomy Promotion Center hosted the 2025 “Chasing Wishes to Fulfillment” Charity Run on October 18 at Daan Forest Park.

Centered around the theme “Chasing Wishes to Fulfillment,” the event embodies the spirit of World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, inviting participants to experience the vitality and connection of life through running. Each step taken by the runners symbolized not just physical movement, but also heartfelt support for the philosophy of palliative care. The event aimed to encourage the public to understand Taiwan’s “Three Acts of a Good Ending” and inspire everyone to take action in spreading warmth and hope.

In addition to the main running event, the venue featured an interactive “Wish Relay Baton” art installation, engaging games, and live musical performances, highlighting the values of palliative care, patient autonomy, and organ donation. Together, participants embraced the true meaning of love and fulfillment.
