2025 TMU Organ Donation Network Tri-Hospital Joint Memorial Concert of Gratitude for Organ Donors

On this sun-kissed morning☀️, the TMU Organ Donation Network held its Tri-Hospital Joint Memorial Concert of Gratitude for Organ Donors, offering a warm and profound journey of the heart.

“From the heart we wish, and may those wishes bring life.”
This is a blessing, and also the continuation of many stories.

Behind every farewell lies an indescribable longing.
Some quietly leave, yet leave behind the most precious gift to the world.
Some receive this selfless gift and are able to continue writing their chapters of life.
Longing never disappears—it simply becomes a gentle melody, flowing softly within each of us.

The concert opened with singer-songwriter Tan Li-Shih, whose heartfelt performance on piano set the tone for the morning.
This was followed by children reading aloud from a picture book, bringing the purest kind of emotion to the audience.

We then revisited the courageous lives of the donors and listened to the sincere stories shared by their families and the recipients.
Within these stories were longing, courage, and the radiant light of life passed forward.

The Fuxing Elementary School String Ensemble (Zhonghe District) then filled the hall with warm harmonies, joined by the pure voices of the Juguang Elementary School Choir (Banqiao District), weaving together a tapestry of blessings.

Finally, the TMU organ transplant team performed “Contentment (Zhizu)”, gently placing gratitude, courage, and hope into every heart.

Every donation is a warm light that illuminates another life.
May these gentle melodies remain forever in our hearts.
